More Live Painting...

Set up and painted for Second Saturday in Boerne.  The weather was really nice.  Photos show my set-up and progress after two hours of painting.  I love old signs, especially if they are atomic 50s style.  I took a few photos of this sign when I was on vacation in Phoenix.

Finally Finished-Commisioned Piece

This is a painting that I have been working on for 6 months now.  I have started and stopped several times, but I am happy to say I think it is finished. Lucky for me there was no deadline on this one. The car is for an artist friend who is a VW enthusiast.  It is 30" x 30" Acrylic on Canvas.  Here are some photos of the piece in progress, and the finished painting.

More Live Painting!  Artwalk @ Monroe May Elementary

I was invited to participate in the Monroe May Elementary Artwalk.  It is a really cool event, featuring many art related activities, including demonstrations by artists.  I did the underpainting in bright pink and I love the way it looks.  I was able to set up and finish a new painting during the event.  Here is a picture of the finished painting.  Hope you like it!
